April 13, 2012 — Novian Health, developer of Novilase Breast Therapy, announced it has begun a multicenter clinical trial on the use of Novilase Interstitial Laser Therapy (ILT) for the destruction of malignant breast tumors. The first facility to participate in the trial is the Rose Breast Center in Denver, under the study direction of Barbara Schwartzberg, M.D.

Dowlat, developer of Novilase image-guided laser therapy for breast tumors, is one of what the organization called "an exclusive group of KoMEN making a difference in the fight against breast cancer."

May 5, 2009 - A panel at the recent meeting of the 10th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, held April 22-26 in San Diego, included discussion of the advantages of a new laser treatment for fibroadenomas, using the Novilase Breast Therapy to offer a minimally invasive alternative to lumpectomy.
