The PCR Eleva family of Philips CR systems aims to increase overall working efficiencies in the radiography department.
The system reportedly combines reliable reader technology and high image quality with a clear and intuitive user interface, the Eleva workspot, delivering Unified Image Quality Enhancement (UNIQUE) processed images directly to the X-ray rooms. UNIQUE, which is Philips' universal multiresolution image processing software for CR and DR assists the clinician by enhancing subtle details. All PCR Eleva images are displayed according to DICOM Grayscale Display Standard, which reportedly brings consistent high quality image impression on the Eleva workspot as well as on printouts and PACS viewing monitors.
The PCR Eleva allows clinicians to access iSite PACS to query previous exams from different modalities (ultrasound, CT, MR, CV X-ray) and view them directly in the X-ray room.
