March 7, 2006 � McKesson Corporation announced today that it will launch the Horizon Anatomic Pathology solution at the CLMA ThinkLab �07, March 25-27 in Houston, Texas, a system that will be linked to McKesson�s Horizon Lab laboratory information system (LIS), expanding upon the company�s suite for hospital, reference and hybrid laboratories.
The anatomic pathology system is designed to give pathologists the ability to improve workflow and diagnostic processes. In addition, Horizon Anatomic Pathology, integrated with the Horizon Lab laboratory information system (LIS), is built on the Horizon Architecture, McKesson�s next-generation enterprise-wide common platform and architecture.
