Kodak Debuts New Digital Dashboard for PACS

April 26, 2007 - Eastman Kodak Company today announced that its new digital dashboard, which provides system administrators with tools for monitoring equipment performance, storage utilization and user volumes for picture archiving and communications systems (PACS), is available worldwide.
The Kodak Carestream Digital Dashboard software supports users of Kodak Carestream PACS and Kodak Carestream Information Management Solutions, and the next version of the Digital Dashboard is scheduled to support monitoring of the Kodak Carestream RIS as well.
The digital dashboard enables PACS administrators to verify that devices are operating and communicating on the network by using a simple red/yellow/green display the provides immediate feedback regarding the status of any monitored device. An integrated, product-specific menu is designed to launch frequently used tools with a single mouse click. The dashboard also allows administrators to track the number of concurrent users for a device, the number of read and unread imaging studies, as well as the status of other tasks.
