February 4, 2008 - iCRco Inc. appointed Daniel J. Valentino, Ph.D. as the Chief Technology Officer, with responsibility for technology research and new product development.
With over 20 years of experience in the high-tech medical imaging industry, Dr. Valentino will report to the President and Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Neushul. Prior to joining iCRco, Dr. Valentino was the Chief Scientist at Radlink Inc. Prior to that, he was the Director of Cerebrovascular Hemodynamics Research in the Division of Interventional Neuroradiology at UCLA, and a founding member of UCLA's NIH-sponsored Center for Computational Biology (CCB). Earlier in his career, he was the Chief of Imaging Informatics for UCLA Healthcare, where he led the team that successfully developed and deployed UCLA's first Centerprise-wide RIS/PACS.
Dr. Valentino has a B.S. in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Physics. He holds an appointment as an Associate Professor at UCLA, and is a member of the SPIE and AAPM. He is the author of over 100 papers on medical image processing and imaging informatics.
iCRco Inc., based in Torrance, CA, provides digital X-ray imaging solutions, including a complete suite of X-ray imaging hardware, software and integrated solutions for the medical, dental, veterinary and nondestructive testing markets.
