March 20, 2012 - CoActiv Medical, the PACS, RIS and cloud-based digital archiving innovator, announces a distribution agreement with Capital X-Ray (CXR) (Tallassee, Ala.), the largest independent x-ray dealer in the Southeast. Under the new agreement, CXR will distribute the complete CoActiv product line in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and the Florida panhandle.
“CoActiv brings the right combination of advanced features and affordable price to enable us to compete favorably in our market with turnkey digital solutions combining x-ray hardware and PACS,” says Terry Stiff, president of CXR. “Given our strong presence in the region, we look forward to outstanding success with the CoActiv PACS and cloud-based archiving solution, as well as the entire product line.”
Like Capital X-Ray, CoActiv views this new relationship as an important growth opportunity. CoActiv’s Vice President of Sales Frank Baker comments, “CXR has excellent penetration in a geographic area where we have not been previously represented. Baker points out that since launching its new national-channel distribution effort in December, CoActiv has already enlisted a prestigious list of resellers and distributors and enjoyed significant sales success.
