November 20, 2013 — CIRS will feature multiple products at the Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting (RSNA 2013) in Chicago.

Ultra IQ
Ultra IQ is an automated ultrasound QA that brings automated phantom image analysis to diagnostic ultrasound. It supports CIRS Model 040GSE and 054GS to objectively measure ultrasound image QA parameters. The software seamlessly integrates with users’ current systems. Reporting and trending functions make it easy to monitor system performance over time.

Triple Modality Biopsy Training Phantom
The Triple Modality Biopsy Training Phantom trains users in breast imaging and image-guided interventional procedures. The phantom is constructed of a new formulation of Zerdine that contains more fibrous structure and minimizes needle tracking from biopsy procedures. A skin-like membrane encases the phantom for increased durability while the anthropomorphic shape allows for suspension in the magnetic resonance (MR) coil and compression for mammography.

Sectional Pediatric Radiography Training Phantom (SPoRT)
SPoRT is a hands-on, realistic, easy-to-use training phantom for repeated pediatric imaging. In addition to age-specific anatomical details, SPoRT now includes fractures and embedded hardware. With fractures, users can practice positioning techniques required to capture various anomalies. The sectional design and optional large positioning stand facilitate easy positioning of the head, torso and all appendages.
