Software Application Provides Data Management Solution

The Connex Data Management System is a software application that provides a complete patient data management solution for the review and analysis of vital signs as well as connectivity to a hospital's clinical information system.
It automatically collects and transmits patient data directly to an electronic file that can be transferred to an existing electronic medical records system (EMR), eliminating the need for manual data entry by providers, increasing efficiency and alleviating the risk of transcription and latency errors. Data that is collected automatically includes systolic and diastolic blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature and pulse oximetry of adult and pediatric patients. Connex also allows for manual input of all automated readings, comments and other physiological parameters.
Designed to interface with the Vital Signs Monitor 300, Vital Signs Monitor 52000, Spot Vital Signs and Spot Vital Signs LXi, Connex also provides alerts to clinical staff when parameters deviate from user-configurable ranges and allows patient demographic data to be received and displayed. The software is available as either a stand-alone solution or with a range of carts provided by various mobile computing partners integrating vital signs devices with a computer running the Connex software through the hospital or clinic's wireless network.
