July 30, 2009 – ZONARE Medical Systems Inc. began shipping the new z.one ultra sp ultrasound system to multiple customer sites.
The first hospital to receive the new technology is Barnes Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, where Chandra Aubin, M.D., RDMS, Assistant Professor and Assistant Residency Program Director, and her staff will use it for emergency medicine.
The z.one ultra sp has been installed in additional hospitals and imaging centers including Saint Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy, Calif., Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York, Lemaire Surgical in Wilson, North Carolina and several other locations throughout the United States.
