November 8, 2007 - Radlink Inc., a supplier of affordable medical imaging systems to healthcare providers will be introducing a family of three distinct CR Pro machines, each designed for a specific profile, and a PACS offering designed and priced specifically for the private practice environment, at RSNA 2007.
Radlink Inc. will feature the CR Pro 2000 that features a top-quality Computed Radiography (CR) reader that is specifically designed for two markets: the OEM market, for use as a CR appliance with digital radiography, as well as distributed applications for end users with smaller budgets. The CR Pro 2000 is engineered with an upgrade path that reportedly provides all of the capabilities of the entire Radlink family of imaging systems.
Also on display will be the CR Pro 2100, Radlink’s core CR product based on a proprietary “sealed fiber optics” design that reportedly maximizes transfer efficiency in private physician offices where low-power X-ray equipment is common.
The CR Pro 2200 turns bundles a PACS with up to 10 Terabytes of secure storage inside a self-contained Radlink CR system with image quality and speed that equals any other CR system available.
Radlink is also introducing a stand-alone PACS offering specifically built and scaled for the private practice market. ThinPACS reportedly brings the necessary components of a hospital-sized PACS to the smaller private practice and imaging operation environment.
