July 27, 2009 – Orbital Therapy announces the installation of ClearVue prone breast tables in the radiation therapy department of New York University School of Medicine.
Orbital Therapy’s all carbon fiber ClearVue prone position table addresses current and future requirements to deliver this emerging therapy technique. Placing the patient in the prone position reportedly reduces target motion, increases the separation between the target anatomy and critical structures such as lung and heart, and allows for better localization of the treatment area.
ClearVue's patent-pending open design provides visual and treatment access to the breast, allowing the physician to plan and treat from multiple angles.
The interchangeable mid-section allows you to quickly change the table configuration using various inserts, available in a number of different sizes and shapes.
