The SBRT System by Bionix encompasses the true nature of SBRT with comfortable positioning, respiratory motion considerations and fewer equipment components to manage. Additionally, the system will feature a radiolucent indexing base that can be quickly and easily locked on to most treatment couches while maximizing overall patient comfort and positioning.
The SBRT System will be comprised of a specially designed SecureVac Cushion, a respiratory motion arch, external fiducial arch and a custom upper body support device. The SBRT System will be unveiled at the ASTRO 2009 annual meeting held Nov. 1-5, 2009, in Chicago, Ill.
