New PACS/RIS platform will be fully Web-based with no need for any client-based software

September 27, 2013 — Viztek has announced the upcoming launch of its new PACS/RIS solution, a zero-footprint software platform that can encompass picture archive and communications systems (PACS), specialty viewers and tools including mammography tomosynthesis and positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT), practice management, electronic health records (EHR), electronic medical records (EMR), billing, radiology scheduling and reporting.

It is fullly Web-based with no need for any client-based software, while still allowing advanced viewing features demanded by physicians. It works on any operating system, freeing the users to the potential of using any PC that is conveniently accessible. The platform is ideal for any type of clinic as customers have the ability to purchase all of the software modules from one vendor.
