May 30, 2014 — The American College of Radiology’s (ACR) Education Center courses have been qualified to meet the American Board of Radiology’s (ABR) criteria for a self-assessment (SAM) activity and are designated for up to 25 SAM credits toward the ABR Maintenance of Certification program. This is a significant increase in SAMs, and can allow radiologists to complete all of the SAM requirements for MOC with just one educational activity.
The state-of-the-art ACR Education Center, located in Reston, Va., which opened in 2008, has helped more than 7,000 radiologists meet their MOC requirements while honing their skills in a wide variety of clinical topics.
