June 29, 2010 – KLAS Medical Equipment Report has named Agfa HealthCare category leader for single plate computed radiography (CR) in 2010, Agfa announced this week. Agfa’s CR 30-X single plate CR digitizer is the number one ranked CR product, according to KLAS, a research firm specializing in monitoring and reporting the performance of health care vendors.
The CR 30-X received an overall score of 88.74, with a functionality of 95 percent, according to the medical equipment report.
The CR 30-X is a compact tabletop CR system with a single-slot digitizer, ideal for decentralized general radiography, military field hospitals, orthopedics, dental, chiropractic, and veterinary use. Enabling more convenient and faster workflow throughout the imaging process, the CR 30-X works in conjunction with Agfa HealthCare’s NX, the CR’s image identification and quality control workstation. In addition, the CR 30-X uses MUSICA2 intelligent image processing software to automatically optimize the final image quality without the need for manual intervention.
