January 2, 2015 — Ampronix announced the availability of its new DVMAXX HD medical grade high-definition (HD) video recorder and image capture device.

To meet the growing trend of high-definition medical displays, cameras and devices Ampronix has upgraded its popular image capture device, the DVMAXX, to capture and record content in full 1920 x 1080 HD. The addition of a new 3.5-inch LCD monitor creates a user-friendly environment for easy navigation and viewing of live content or playback.

Along with being network capable, the DVMAXX HD can plug in and go with the ability to auto-sense connections and video resolution detection. A built-in hard drive allows for internal storage of patient information as well as data backup. Users are also able to simultaneously record to the internal hard drive, to a network server or through the two front loading USB ports to a USB or external drive. The internal hard drive comes with high capacity recording of up to 100 hours of HD quality video.
