Konica Minolta’s REGIUS Nano CR, a single bay CR system, is engineered to make digital radiography more affordable in low-procedure volume facilities and ancillary departments. It includes customer maintenance features that will help to reduce department downtime, according to the manufacturer.
The system is available in two models. Nano CR—The Enterprise Solution utilizes the same easy-to-use interface as Konica Minolta’s flagship Xpress CR to provide sophisticated software tools for superior image quality and customization, while requiring fewer steps to complete the exam. Nano CR—The Clinic Solution uses the same intelligent and automated software as the IQue CR, resulting in minimized user training requirements in addition to delivering consistently high quality images, according to the manufacturer.
Also featured at RSNA 2007, the DRYPRO 832 medical laser film imager delivers high image quality combined with a compact size, performance and efficiency. With a footprint less than four square feet, it can be located virtually anywhere within a facility, reportedly fulfilling the need for a smaller and more cost-effective printing solution without sacrificing productivity or image quality.
DRYPRO 832 delivers high resolution (78.6 micron) and superb speed (50 seconds to first print and 90 14-by-17-inch films per hour). It is also configurable with one or two trays for use with 8-by-10 inches, 10-by-12 inches, 11-by-14 inches and 14-by-17 inches film and seven DICOM connections, according to the company.
