To help battle cancerous tumors, the Discovery CT590 RT offers precise imaging for accurate treatment planning in radiation therapy CT simulation. If offers an automated 4-D workflow and proven virtual simulation applications to accelerate speed and efficiency.

The imaging aids edge detection and clear definition of tumors in motion. Precise patient positioning for accurate tumor contouring for optimized dose calculation.

It optimizes workflow needed for high throughput, as well as virtual simulation tools that offer vital information quickly. The 4-D respiratory gating solutions are fast and efficient for seamless workflow from scan to plan.

The system offers MicroVoxel, which helps resolve small structures, enabling accurate contours and treatment plans. ASiR is a reconstruction technology may enable improvement in low contrast detectability. AdvantageSim MD produces precise data for accurate localization, identification, beam definition, and verification before treatment.
Integrated registration allows CT, MR, PET and SPECT datasets to be automatically.

For radiation oncology specific applications, GE also offers the Optima CT580 W, a large bore CT system with a powerful X-ray tube. It offers high-resolution imaging, ASiR dose-reduction technology, and quick scan speeds.

The table is capable for patients of all sizes, including larger patients up to 650 lbs. Optional fast image reconstruction. At 16 fps, it streamlines your workflow from acquisition to final report.
