September 17, 2007 - Fingertip Formulary said its Fingertip Formulary Mobile, a free, simple to use formulary service application for Palm and Pocket PC PDAs, is now available.
The Fingertip Formulary database covers about 95 percent of the managed care lives in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and offers healthcare professionals access to a large and accurate source of formulary data. Registered users of the program can personalize the prescription formulary data that are downloaded. Current formulary and clinical drug information are updated every time a user syncs their handheld PDA. With this release, healthcare providers may also access detailed clinical drug information online, as well as abbreviated drug information on their mobile PDAs.
