Company exhibiting at SIIM 2017 Annual Meeting

April 25, 2017 — ImageMoverMD announced the availability of ImageMover Media, a universal, web-based solution to import DICOM and non-DICOM medical images. The solution is available to new and existing customers immediately.

ImageMover Media builds on the company’s electronic health record (EHR)-integrated enterprise imaging platform to import outside medical images into a hospital’s image management system. Since the solution is directly integrated with the EHR, additional keystrokes and manual order entry are not required. ImageMover Media’s zero-footprint design permits staff and patients to upload DICOM medical images from virtually any location.

K. Thomas Pickard, CEO of ImageMoverMD, said the company sees facilities that receive thousands of outside DICOM CDs and DVDs per month. He said that ImageMover Media’s web-based approach reduces costs of importing these media, including PDFs and video, and eliminates manual errors.

ImageMoverMD will demonstrate ImageMover Media, part of the ImageMover Enterprise Platform, at the upcoming Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) 2017 Annual Meeting, June 1-3 in Pittsburgh.
