August 14, 2015 — Radiologic technologists and radiology departments looking to meet Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) safety requirements have a new series of online resources to help prepare for various examinations.

ImagingTutor.com comprises a group of online review websites with medical imaging training modules to help techs pass their American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) exams for several modalities.

From the main site, users can find links to subsites for the various modalities, including:

The network features a database of more than 12,000 questions in a curriculum developed by JCAHO experts, focusing on requirements for Standard HR.01.05.03. Information is presented through study guides, virtual flash cards, interactive tutorials and learning games. When users feel ready, ImagingTutor.com offers numerous practice quizzes and exams, with feedback provided after each question. Tests may be retaken whenever and as many times as users like.

In addition to the technologists, the site also caters to radiology department heads, offering user-friendly documentation for tracking progress through the certifications.

Those interested can access a free demo of all modules.
