October 2, 2014 – A KLAS report revealed a lack of widespread integration with EMRs, continuing to limit the effectiveness of order sets and care plans.
"Every time we do a report on the effectiveness of CDS tools we hear this complaint about the lack of integration," said report author Adam Cherrington. "The difference this time is that we are starting to see some CDS tools make real headway to reverse this trend."
For the report, KLAS interviewed 139 provider organizations to get feedback about the effectiveness of their CDS tools.
