February 3, 2014 — Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corp. and Maquet launched a non-exclusive sales partnership in the United States to offer OR integration solutions in the endoscopy market.
Richard Wolf manufactures endoscopic systems, providing integrated solutions for minimally invasive surgery for all major surgical disciplines. Maquet offers OR products such as tables, lights, ceiling supply units and intraoperative media management.
The partnership provides an integrated system aimed at making device management and information routing user-friendly and efficient. The companies will integrate Richard Wolf's endoscopy video platform, including the device control solution Core control, into Maquet’s Tegris system. The combined solution endeavors to streamline device control and overall OR management, potentially decrease procedure time and allow OR staff to focus on its primary tasks.
