Number-one ranking represents high customer recognition of the solutions clinical depth, quality and ease of use

McKesson Imaging & Workflow Solutions, an industry leader in providing healthcare IT and imaging solutions, is pleased to announce that independent research firm KLAS has named McKesson Radiology a Category Leader in the 2017 Best in KLAS: Software & Services report for the Picture Archiving and Communications Solutions (PACS) (Community Hospital) segment, ranking number-one in the market segment.

KLAS defines the community hospital market segment as hospitals with 200 beds or less. Providers in the community hospital space prefer the convenience and flexibility of hosted or cloud-based solutions, along with faster-paced software development and a heavily integrated suite of products.

“McKesson is honored to receive this award as recognition of our long standing commitment to deliver an exceptional customer experience,” said Ashish Sant, vice president and general manager, McKesson Radiology Solutions. “We have a large and varied customer base and we have invested heavily in providing excellence and consistency in all aspects of our solution delivery — from product capabilities, quality and reliability to a smooth upgrade experience and a unique customer support model. It is nice to have recognition from our customers acknowledging that we are exceeding their expectations.”

The 2017 Best in KLAS report is compiled by KLAS researchers who collect feedback directly from healthcare providers to create honest, accurate and impartial rankings of vendor performance in the industry. The Category Leader designation classifies a vendor that delivers excellent products and services, and outperforms other vendors in their market segment. As the 2017 Category Leader, McKesson Radiology achieved the highest score among KLAS-rated PACS vendors.

McKesson Radiology is also highly rated in other PACS categories: PACS (Large Hospital/IDN) and PACS (Imaging Centers/Ambulatory).
