March 18, 2016 — Mobile Heartbeat, provider of smartphone applications to improve clinical workflow and team communications, announced it has signed a contract with the group purchasing organization HealthTrust. Under the contract, Mobile Heartbeat will become a product supplier to HealthTrust’s member organizations that include integrated delivery networks, individual healthcare facilities, surgery centers and physician practices. Mobile Heartbeat will supply MH-CURE (Clinical Urgent REsponse), its secure smartphone application enabling clinical communications, patient-specific workflow and a real-time clinical team directory connecting all members of a patient’s care team.

Mobile Heartbeat MH-CURE provides patient care teams with secure, single smartphone access to all clinical communications, pertinent patient information and lab data. Care team members have the choice of using their own smartphone or sharing hospital-supplied devices. With MH-CURE, care team members know who else is on the team for each patient and can view the availability and status of other team members at all times. MH-CURE enables efficient delivery of clinical data and communications to users on-site, off-site and at multiple locations to ensure timely patient care decisions and response, plus save time and reduce costs.

HealthTrust serves 1,400 acute care facilities and members in more than 22,600 other locations, including ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, long-term care and alternate care sites.
