December 28, 2007 - The Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) will host its 37th Critical Care Congress Feb. 2-6, 2008, at the Hawaii Convention Center on the island of Oahu.
The 37th Critical Care Congress will offer educational sessions on a wide variety of timely topics for all members of the critical care team. The congress curriculum will be packed with world-renowned speakers, interactive workshops, panel discussions, educational sessions and the opportunity to earn continuing education credits.
More than 100 exhibitors will highlight products and organizations in the critical care market.
The event includes precongress educational sessions Feb. 1-2 at the convention center, and a postcongress special course and tour Feb. 6-8 on the island of Kauai. Participants can learn about clinical breakthroughs and advances that lead to better patient care at plenary sessions given by renowned leaders in critical care. Industry-sponsored sessions will also promote quality improvements in healthcare and provide a view of available therapeutic options for intensive care units.
SCCM is the largest multiprofessional organization dedicated to ensuring excellence and consistency in the practice of critical care. It has 13,000 members in 80 countries and is the only organization that represents all professional components of the critical care team.
