July 25, 2011 — Join Siemens Healthcare at the joint annual meeting of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine/Canadian Organization of Medical Physicists (AAPM/COMP) 2011, July 31-Aug. 3, at the Vancouver Convention Centre, Vancouver, British Columbia. Siemens will present a diverse line of radiation therapy advancements that shorten treatment delivery time and enhance treatment efficiency.

This year’s highlights include Multiple-X and In-Line kView, two new components of the Artiste linear accelerator. These new features help increase speed and efficiency of radiation therapy delivery for a seamless oncology workflow. In addition, we have introduced a new computed tomography (CT) scanner, Somatom Definition AS Open, which delivers superior image quality while reducing dose to the patient.  See first-hand the impact new, low-dose image guidance techniques can have on the efficiency and quality of advanced radiation therapy.
