January 20, 2014 — Sony Electronics’ Medical Systems Division unveiled at the 2013 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) meeting its next generation of medical printers, including three digital thermal models with features such as built-in image capture and hybrid signal inputs.
The models build on Sony’s existing printer line and the company’s other medical applications, including ultrasound, portable C-Arm and cardiac cath labs. The Sony UP-D898MD, UP-X898MD and UP-991AD printers are scheduled for release in spring 2014.
