April 2, 2015 — ThinkTank Technologies announced the availability of their state-of-the-art endoscope imaging system, SweetVision HD. The system provides doctors the ability to utilize their own rigid and fiber optic endoscope to capture high-definition and high-quality video during examinations and to perform a variety of other scope procedures.
SweetVision HD allows doctors to save, trim and playback video at both full speed and slow motion, and to store individual images taken during examination or from saved video. Doctors can also use a real-time, fiberscope filtering which algorithmically enhances the quality of picture seen at HD resolution and is a less expensive alternative to chip-on-the-tip video scopes.

With the integration of Sookasa's transparent encryption service and Dropbox's cloud-based file hosting, HIPAA compliance is achieved for patient data synchronization, backup, sharing (both internal within a medical group and external to other specialists) and allows for remote viewing on mobile devices, such as the iPad. SweetVision HD can also provide other telemedicine functionality such as real-time broadcast of patient examinations to allow for professional collaboration or remote learning opportunities for medical teaching universities.
The system is currently available in two different designs to accommodate the specific needs of each practitioner. The All-in-One is a 24-inch touchscreen display, high-performing desktop system with VESA mounting ability. Laptop configurations are available for users who need a powerful diagnostic station on-the-go. Equipped with either a 13-, 15- or 17-inch display, these units are ideal for those who travel between locations and require a lightweight and portable solution. The 13-inch system is for those who value portability, weighing 2.8 pounds and requiring minimal space for placement.
SweetVision HD can be configured with one of three types of USB CMOS cameras; their video resolutions are 2000x1500, 1600x1200 and 1280x1024 pixels. Onboard image processing is utilized to enhance image quality, and frame rates are up to 24, 30 and 50 frames per second, respectively.
Other features with SweetVision HD include a video endocoupler with zoom ability; a wireless, dual-control foot pedal for storing images and recording video; an integrated data backup solution; and CD-quality audio recording.
