Customized modules sport a new interface and learning management system

Toshiba Medical Rolls Out Interactive Learning Tools for Ultrasound and Vascular Training

December 4, 2017 — Toshiba Medical, a Canon Group company, introduced new educational tools and interactive learning resources to help healthcare providers stay current on CMEs and clinical education without impacting busy schedules. The new advancements give clinicians more accessible and mobile-friendly resources and accreditation opportunities that fit into their on-the-go schedules.  

The company’s new educational offerings include:

  • New Ultrasound and Vascular Online Training Solutions: Building on Toshiba Medical’s custom and interactive computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) training solutions, Toshiba Medical expands its online suite of training modules to now include ultrasound and vascular. The training solutions include instruction specific to Toshiba Medical systems and clinical applications.
  • Customizable Trainings to Meet Customer Needs: Customers now have access to personalized online training domains for their staff with a curated suite of course offerings. Additionally, the enhanced Learning Management System is more responsive, with a new user interface that focuses on the customer experience.

Educational resources include interactive case studies, videos and demonstrations to hone diagnostic skills, and the ability to interact with subject matter experts in every imaging specialty.

Toshiba Medical showcased its enhancements to clinician education at this year’s Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting, Nov. 26-Dec. 1 in Chicago.
