July 13, 2017 — Vital Images Inc. showcased a new version of its Practice Management analytics tool at the annual meeting of the Association of Medical Imaging Management (AHRA), July 9-12, in Anaheim, Calif.
Practice Management, version 1.4 (formerly known as Imaging Resource Planning) introduces the ability to integrate financial data with data generated by electronic medical record (EMR), radiology information system (RIS), picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and imaging equipment. Adding this financial dimension enables imaging leaders to uncover critical insights into the economics of their operations. Utilizing the current Practice Management applications, users benefit from a self-service toolset for building key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards and on-demand reports.
