June 17, 2008 - Drexel University’s College of Nursing and Health Professions will host a three-day workshop, “Developing, Financing and Implementing the Standardized Patient Experience in Nursing Education,” for nursing educators Aug. 12-14, 2008
The workshop will be held at the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel in Philadelphia. Topics include the nuts and bolts of constructing and financing a human simulation program; implementing the national safety initiatives in nursing education using a human simulation experience; developing standardized patient cases and evaluation criteria and training; and using patient actors for human simulation.
