June 11, 2007 - Brit Systems, Inc. highlighted at SIIM 2007 additional 3-D and mammography tools for Brit Vision, the company’s Linux-based diagnostic multi-modality workstation, expanding its portfolio of offerings as the digital mammography market continues its growth trend.
Brit Vision is designed for use with any FDA-cleared full-field digital mammography system (FFDM) or with digitized film from a film-screen system. The tools developed for mammography include mammography-specific reading tools, including support for CAD overlays, over-reading tools with statistics, special hot-keys and icons and animated hanging protocols. Color images, particularly those from ultrasound, can be viewed on the workstation with Brit’s standard two-portrait grayscale and one-landscape color monitor.
