Second-generation Mobile Medication and Mobile Computing Carts are designed to support a variety of medication delivery systems in acute and long-term care facilities.
The carts allow each hospital the flexibility to increase nursing efficiency without necessarily overhauling the existing medication delivery system. They complement decentralized, centralized and combination, or patient-focused delivery systems.
Specific enhancements to the new line of carts include electronic height adjustment, additional work area, an open architecture medical-grade power system and multiple user access codes with wireless audit tracking capabilities. This last feature gives pharmacists a tool for maintaining medication security compliance.
