August 16, 2010 – The Fundação Instituto de Pesquisa e Estudo de Diagnóstico por Imagem (FIDI) in São Paulo, Brazil, is the first site in Latin America to add PACS/EHR connectivity software from PACSGEAR. With more than 300 physicians, FIDI is a non-profit organization that performs more than 3 million diagnostic imaging procedures each year. FIDI selected PacsSCAN connectivity software to complement its recent PACS and teleradiology installations.
The sale was completed by LogiCaribe, Inc., PACSGEAR’s representative in Latin America. LogiCaribe has provided sales and support throughout the region for more than 25 years.
