Injector Reporting Solution Designed to Reduce Contrast Waste

December 5, 2008 - At RSNA 2008 this week, ACIST Medical Systems featured its DICOM-connected IRiS (Injector Reporting Information System) software package, which is designed to automate the data management process and helps turn ACIST’s Empower Injector Systems into an integrated network.

IRiS helps administrators with analysis and decision-making, notably allowing the ability to track contrast use and reduce waste. The system also designed to communicate a facilities’ pharmacy to automate the ordering of contrast.
