Ramsoft PowerServer helping reduce expenses, improve image distribution and storage

Philippines Children's Medical Center Switches to RamSoft for Digital Radiology Workflow

October 11, 2017 — The Philippines Children’s Medical Center is now transitioned from conventional film and paper to a digital environment for their radiology workflow. Using RamSoft software is helping eliminate unnecessary expenses, improve image distribution, and establishing an archiving solution to store computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) digital studies.

Recognizing the importance of moving to a digital workflow, the Philippines Children's Medical Center is improving lives of the staff, and most importantly, the lives of its pediatric patients. Radiologists can now dictate a report, analyze images and store information more securely, aiding the hospital’s staff to work more efficiently and accurately.

“They recognize conventional film radiology is resource-intensive and expensive to manage. The RamSoft PACS solution is the first step in leading the digital transformation of the hospital,” says Edward Chiu, radiology information system (RIS)/picture archiving and communication system (PACS) clinical applications specialist.

"We are impressed by RamSoft PowerServer which provides fully enriched features, while providing unlimited licenses," said Elan Vita, member of the Philippines Children's Medical Center Diagnostic Service Team. “Customizing workflow is user-friendly and wonderful for each client; this is a PACS that does it all."
