March 8, 2007 - SunPoint Systems recently introduced the Universal Medical Imager (UMI), a high-resolution computerized viewbox for the review of DICOM images from spinning media, WiFi connectivity and hard copy films independent of a PACS or PC environment, reportedly suited for the emergency room, operating room and patient bedside, providing an enhanced level of security, at HIMSS 2007 in New Orleans.
