The Bionix Comfort Hold Thigh and Foot Positioner was designed to minimize pelvic rotation and tilt with the patient’s comfort in mind. Controlling the pelvic movement will reduce prostate motion thus making treatment planning more accurate.
The Comfort Hold Thigh Positioner aims for a comfortable leg position and consists of dual channels to support the legs at a 115O bend at the knee.
The Comfort Hold Foot Positioner features foamed lined foot cups designed to provide additional comfort. It also has multiple positioning holes that allow the foot plate to move anterior or posterior to the patient in the supine position.
As a system, the two independent pieces have the ability to be connected together by aligning two posts into the provided holes at the base. Once combined, the system will work together providing a combination of various possible configurations specific to the patient.
